the simulation was breaking
long before covid hit our world in 2020, signs were starting to show that distinct change was in the air. overworked teachers and nurses leaving their jobs, the failure of traditional schooling not being built for every kind of learner, seeing people use alternative schooling like being home or world schooling, the constant gun violence at schools, even people leaving the United States to go to other countries for a better life.
on top of that, the college degree was starting to lose its value (it was the very thing on top of needing financial stability that drove me to going to tech bootcamp in 2019 to learn to code). inflation started being so rude, hitting everybody right and left with no apologies and all of a sudden on top of the job you had (if you had one) you needed at least 2-3 jobs and your own side hustle just to make ends meet (i had personally been through one myself before bootcamp). buying a house felt impossible, student loan debt was climbing, and the job market was turning into a circus.
it was as if the world felt like walking in a house on fire and snowing indoors at the same time pretending like it's normal when it's clearly not.
i knew by that point things were off, that these institutional systems we all knew about that were just a normal part of lives (like schools, governments, hospitals, etc.) were all of a sudden malfunctioning like a simulation. it felt like we all were lied to about the safety we were given, the care we'd receive, how our voices would be heard. almost as if the ones behind the scenes KNOW things aren't the best, but still choose to sell things as if they are to us because who knows what would happen otherwise. they know if people start paying attention, there would be little to no control they can have over the masses.
the calls that changed everything
i saw this pattern of systems failing up close while i was working at a call center back in 2021. i remember having my headset on helping people who were affected by covid apply for utility assistance. everything felt like an apocalyptic nightmare.
the people on the other line weren't at fault. they were trying to get assistance from a program that promised to help them but didn't make things easy for them to get it.
hearing the families, the single moms, the professionals who had jobs but still were struggling, and the elders who had to get their kids to fill out their application (even some who had nobody except a librarian to help them who they had to take a bus to get to the library) — it all was so heartbreaking. even experiencing utility companies call in begging us to get them money to turn on their air or water.
it all sucked to just be frank.
although many people received help, there were also many people who didn't receive help and breaking that news to them was a call i always dreaded giving.
what sucked worse was knowing i couldn't do much and what i could do was what i was told to do. i couldn't make promises or yell at anybody above me to help out as much as i wanted to. the underwriters probably lived in another state for all i knew. the disorganization of the program itself was so obvious and clear. this wasn't just a matter allocating resources to people, it's about a system that wasn't even coherent enough to help itself help people.
i was exposed to a side of the world that i knew was real, but didn't know how real it was until it was in front of me. it was like a dam with patches of black tape burst open in front of me and i couldn't unsee it.
i learned a cold, hard truth during that time i hated even existed: these systems that are meant to help humanity survive are showing they're about to fall and are showing their cracks in their foundation.
what i wanted to do (& why it wouldn't have helped anyway)
even i tried to make something to help all of those people who were denied and left to the side, it didn't make a difference knowing everything that would go into accomplishing a task like that and that one state (& for one month) wasn't gonna cut it. people would just get temporary help, but the state of these systems would only get worse instead of better.
they will also continue to show that they'll provide assistance but give a subtitle "but only if you do xyz…" or put people under surveillance to ensure they won't be screwed over either.
the root of the problem was still present. the large institutions, governments, and bureaucracies that were created to help people survive where they live are now helping or just thinking about themselves more than us. this isn't about writing off these institutions — it's about not making them your only plan.
and this isn't anybody's fault (i want to make that absolutely clear!). these systems were sold to us as reliable and we built our assumption around the fact that they would hold us and care for us. the fault is more so how they're designed - or how they stopped being designed for us. but that doesn't change what we have to do now.
we have to also start looking out for ourselves too. now more than ever!
the solution that saved me
i've started diving into astrology classes back during my days at the call center in 2021 to learn more about how i operate as a person & how to use to improve myself. it was the most eye-opening time of my life and one i'd redo over and over again if i could. seeing how interconnected the planet alignment was to real world events was even more surreal to experience. i also dove deeper into human design from my surface-level knowledge i had since 2020 when i had my virtual assistant business i was running.
in learning both of these energetic systems, 2 important energetic shifts made everything make sense about where we are and where we're going that i knew i need to pay attention more closely.
the first was the cross of the sleeping phoenix. in human design, every 400 years, humanity undergoes global cycle shifts that essentially all have themes regarding humanity's direction that act like a background frequency we don't physically see but know is there. these themes shape everything about what humanity does, feels, and values the most. since 1616, we've been in the cross of planning, which has the theme of tribes and logic meaning "i'll care for you if you do the same for me". this is where we get these corporations, hospitals, banks, schools, governments — the institutional systems of our society. we head into the cross of the sleeping phoenix in february of 2027, where the theme is individuality. this means we're all meant to learn to trust ourselves, lead ourselves, be authentic to ourselves, create our own abundance, and express ourselves in ways we've been afraid to. we're to prioritize what our intuition says no matter who tries to tell us otherwise.
the second was pluto being in the sign of aquarius for the next 20 years. in astrology, the planet pluto is currently in the sign of aquarius. pluto is the planet of massive transformation and the end of cycles to begin new ones while aquarius is the sign of many things including disruption, systems and networks. now, i don't think it's a hell of a coincidence for a planet to be in a sign about systems when we're heading into a background frequency where external systems are about to be put on the back burner! in fact, i think it makes it more obvious that this change is not only coming, it's here and not slowing down.
i saw with the government shutdown that happened back in November 2025 and many families were not able to get food stamps to be able to eat for the month. this disruption was a subtle conversation between the government and its people that they couldn't agree on how money would work so they're going to make everyone suffer as a result of this.
i took time since then to learn how these energetic systems were meant to help me understand myself — and what i found changed the way i operated entirely. for example, i'm a generator in human design and it made more sense for me to follow my gut response to things instead of doing them in the moment and hoping things work out for the best. i'm also valleys environment and it made sense why i hated being in chaotic and closed spaces trying to work on things. with this learning, making changes to my way of working and especially understand i'm meant to make money were very eye opening for me to understand and grasp. it also made sense why many ventures i tried didn't work.
i started making it my goal to find other ways to learn about myself aside from what i already had in astrology and human design.
i already knew about the ennegram and the myers briggs tests from my college days, but there were several other self-assessment tests were introduced to me by way of astrological tribes that i never knew about that brought even deeper insight like the kolbe-a (to help me understand i can be more productive and take action) and the bg5 career assessment (to learn how i'm meant to work with other people + it's created based on human design).
i also started studying how events in the world connected to planetary weather happening in the moment. i started thinking about backup plans for simple things i never about like having hygiene products stacked away in case a disruption in the supply chain happens and i can't buy soap i need or like recipes to teach me how to make bread in case inflation makes loaves of bread be $7 or more.
how Shidoni Code Studios came to be
shidoni is my name "Cydney" in romanji japanese (yes, that's my first name. also, i'm one of those girls who fell in love with japanese culture because of anime. and what about it? lol) it came from me wanting to understand the language and potentially look at visiting since i think having multiple places to reside and make connections in will be the key to creating not only wealth in finances, but wealth in wisdom, knowledge and an expanded view on the world outside of where you are (but that's another blog for another day).
astrology and human design are my codes. a way of life i follow and that i see as essential to my existence due to how much they've both taught me about myself. this studio is my way of providing other women what i wish was in front of me — a warning of what's coming and how to not only survive in it, but thrive to the point where there's little dependence on a system to give you stability. i want other women to make money that actually reflects what they're worth, to spend time with their families, to pay off debt, and to do all of this by doing things based on how their designed.
because that's really the only way to get through this shift — learn about yourself to build the life you need to have for yourself because doing this makes things flow more effortlessly.
where you should go from here
if you're a woman who sees all of this that's happening and are thinking "omg! i've been thinking this same stuff." or "i'm seeing the patterns, but i'm not sure what to do with this information.", you're in the right place.
maybe this is your first time hearing all of this and you're feeling overwhelmed, panicking and feel like things are gloomy with how all of this is sounding. maybe this feels really scary to think about. don't worry, know that i understand how you feel, it was a shock to my nervous system to see all of this. but also know that yes, this is a place for you too if you're open to it.
if you're done waiting for somebody to save you, ready to create income that feels so easy to make it shouldn't be legal, and want to understand the world well enough to move through it with agency then you're right where you need to be.
i'll be here with you so we can do what society failed to do for us. learn the systems that teach you what your code is, create our life of sovereignty from there and help others do the same in our own tribes where our strengths are building them.
change is coming and these institutional systems are either going to change with it or break away altogether. it's not going to happen all at once, but the signs are there and we as women can't afford to stick our heads in the sand and hope it goes away.
i know it's hard because surviving is where a lot of people are right now, even me. but i'm building a future where i don't just survive in this new world, i'm thriving in it. i want it to be because i paid attention to the signs before they showed up due to the events of the world and how astrology and human design play a role in them. and i want the same for you too.
we can either do nothing and let things crush us or figure out answers to create a world that actually helps all of us. because after all the hell these events created, we owe it to ourselves to start now.
more will come soon,
